They often act as a liaison between different departments within their organization, such as sales, engineering, operations, and finance. They gather input and information from these departments to ensure that proposals are comprehensive and accurate.
Proposal engineers need a strong technical understanding of the products or services their company offers. They must be able to interpret technical requirements and translate them into compelling proposals.
