We are urgently looking for Proposal Engineer who is strong in the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering. Below is the job description:

About Client : Paintbooth Company

Location : Chennai

Experience : 7-15 years

Qualification :B.E/B.Tech(Mechanical Eng)

Job Description

Review of customer enquiry for adequacy

Preparing preliminary layout and discussing with customer for clarification if any

Preparing bill of materials

Preparing specifications for all bill of materials (raw materials, bought out specifications etc.)

Technical discussion with customer in clarifying the scope

Sending RFQ to potential vendors and obtaining the quotes, compare the quotes

Preparing cost estimation for the fabricated parts, bought out items

Preparing Techno-commercial quotation

After receipt of order, review the order for its technical adequacy and co-ordinate with Draftsman for preparing GA drawings for submission to customer

After GA drawings are approved by customer, co-ordinate with Draftsman for preparing manufacturing drawings for production

Release RFQ specification for all bought-out items to Purchase

Co-ordinate with factory for any drawing related queries
