As a Projects Coordinator for ThinkHigher, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective and regular communication between our partners, including Coventry University, the University of Warwick, North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, Warwickshire College Group, Coventry City Council, Warwickshire County Council (including the virtual schools), and the Career and Enterprise Company. This role ensures a continuous flow of information about project activities and partner obligations.

You will also develop and implement strategies for effective communication and dissemination for the ThinkHigher partnership. This involves creating and managing website content and drafting written material for online publication. Additionally, you will coordinate events on behalf of the partnership, managing complex activities involving multiple partners and school and college outreach events, as well as travel bookings for ThinkHigher colleagues and partners attending these events.

Active partnerships with colleagues at identified schools and colleges are essential to maintaining and raising the profile of the partnership with key stakeholders. You will take responsibility, overseen by the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Officer to carry out effective financial monitoring of the project's operating budgets. This includes analysing financial data, providing reports and expenditure forecasts, proposing solutions to financial issues, advising on various options in conjunction with colleagues, processing travel claim forms, producing purchase requisitions, and authorizing purchase invoices in compliance with university financial procedures.

Managing administrative HR issues for the project is another critical aspect of the role. This includes overseeing recruitment and associated paperwork and liaising with the university's HR department and internal recruitment agency UniTemps as needed, such as hiring student ambassadors and event workers. You will develop and maintain appropriate databases and spreadsheets to support effective targeting, monitoring, and evaluation of partnership activities and prepare reports based on this data for internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, you will keep abreast of developments and activities across the national Uni Connect community, and contribute to national dialogues and the development of best practices. Cooperation with other widening participation colleagues and performing general office duties and event preparation for project needs are also essential components of this role.

This role will require a enhanced DBS check with child's barred list

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
