Position Summary
McCain Foods Limited is currently looking for Project Schedular to join their team in Mehsana, India. The primary responsibility of the Project Scheduler is to develop and maintain project schedules of small, medium, and large scale of capital projects. The Project Scheduler will work closely with stakeholders to create appropriate project schedules using tools such as MS Project, outlines the project phases, tasks under each stage, dependencies and resource management ensuring effective coordination and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Functional Competencies:
- Provide on-site leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project objectives.
- Prepare WBS & detailed Project Program using MS Project software.
- Progress Monitoring and MIS Report: Development of different level schedules, agenda & tracking methods, look ahead plans, Progress reporting (Daily, Weekly & Monthly) based on Planned vs. Actual vs. Earned, S-Curve system and risk analysis.
- Maintain, Monitor, Coordinate and Communicate detailed project Master Schedules using MS Project.
- Prepare 3 (three) months schedule forecasting aligning with project Master Schedule and tracking the same on Weekly basis.
- Implements Sub-trades schedules into Master schedule and monitor ongoing progress.
- Prepare & maintain Manpower Histogram and S-Curve.
- Preparing and Tracking of Weekly & Monthly schedule Targets for sub-contractors activities and reporting to Management for Delays, if any
- Periodic review of Work progress at Site and prepare LMP Schedule.
- Coordinate with site team to receive the execution data & update the schedules regularly.
- Prepare Work Progress Reports (WPR) for ongoing work and update WPR tracking sheet regularly.
- Coordination with consultant and contractors for weekly meetings.
- Preparation of shop drawing schedule material delivery tracking, material logs & Progress layouts for project.
- Report progress of schedules at project meetings, monthly forecasts, and status report updates.
- Assisting establishing functional schedules (L4) & S Curves, analyze variances, identifies trends and deviations, and recommends corrective courses of action, issues alerts.
- Provide Schedule Risk Inputs on monthly basis and assist in schedule risk analysis.
- Assist in establishing Billing Milestones for EP Contract & verifying man-hours of EP Contractors for Reimbursable contracts on regular basis.
- Support in initiating Potential Deviation notes.
- Prepare Close out Report.
- Provide on-the-job mentoring and training.
- To learn and keep abreast of the latest techniques of project controls in driving the entire projects progress.
Safety
- Ensure all tasks are undertaken safely with appropriate PPE & procedures by self and by assigned electricians, mechanical fitters etc. working under him.
- Adhere to safe work practices such as working at height regulations.
- Ensure equipment is correctly isolated (LOTO) when maintenance is carried out.
- Report any safety or property loss incident to relevant persons in the safety organization and Manager as per company procedures.
- Identify & report and plan corrective and preventive action for unsafe working conditions / machine faults.
- Plan & execute plant improvements to enhance safety standards.
- Carry out regular safety inspections in all areas of the plant like GEMBA Walk, behavior safety observation etc. for areas under his supervision.
General
- Entrusting the responsibility and time schedules to project staff like drafts man, welders, electricians etc.
- Ensuring and conducting training programs for employee and contract labor staff at regular intervals involving safety, technical Information, and other engineering related issues.
- Identifying and implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members
- Communicate project staff under him on their performance, recognizing achievements & shortfalls, Manage the workload of subordinates & ensure that engineering staff are sufficiently skilled & trained.
- International Travel: Willingness/ desire to travel to overseas manufacturing locations and is required.
- Flexible with working hours i.e. may stay late one day and go early the next.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Diploma/B.E in Engineering with MBA / PGDM in project management.
Good to Have: PG from NICMAR (National Institute Of Construction Management and Research) in Construction Planning
