Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to understand projects requirements and specifications
Create accurate pre-engineered building designs using computer aided designs software and other design tools
Ensure that design comply with applicable buildings codes,safety regulations, and industry standards.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials and labor costs, based on design specifications and project scope.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other team members to ensure that designs and cost estimate are accurate and meet project requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field
1+ years of experience in pre-engineered building design and cost estimating.
Strong Proficiency in computer Aided design software
Strong analytical skills and problem solving
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in team environment
Strong time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and industry standards
Willingness to travel to job site and client meetings as required.
