Job Purpose:
The Planning Engineer - Wind is responsible for providing all necessary information for project execution, including project goals, objectives, scope of work, milestones, risks, and resources. The role requires in-depth knowledge of wind project execution sequences and statutory approvals. This includes reviewing projects to schedule deliverables, estimate costs, manage project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Management:
o Communicate progress and completion status to stakeholders.
o Highlight interconnections between tasks and follow up on action items.
o Plan and track resources and materials.
o Set clear and realistic project goals.
o Monitor progress regularly and provide feedback.
o Prepare DPR and flash progress reports to stakeholders daily.
o Track project progress, identify critical issues, and compare actual status with daily targets.
2. Design, Construction, and Resource Management:
o Understand the turnkey EPC contract and ensure EPC contractor compliance on site.
o Lead site engineering, quality, and safety teams to ensure project success.
o Coordinate with the project Independent Engineer on-site.
3. Audit and Governance:
o Create and maintain documentation for statutory and internal audits.
o Provide site know-how to senior management at HO for informed decisionmaking.
o Uphold organization's standards across stakeholders and protect ABG's reputation and brand.
4. Knowledge Management:
o Enhance systems and processes for future organizational success.
o Guide new talent and build competencies for business success.
o Provide technical expertise to the land acquisition team to identify optimal land parcels.

Managing budget restrictions and changes.
Risk management.
Meeting impractical deadlines.
Relationships: Internal: o Land Acquisition Team, Stores, Logistics, Quality & Safety (Regular Interaction) External: o Contractors, Government Officials, Politicians, Local Community Leaders (Regular Interaction)
Organizational Requirements:
Must be willing to relocate to Mumbai.
Looking for long-term association.
Must handle multiple project sites, each with a minimum project size of 50MW.
