Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager for software development projects to lead and manage various projects from initiation to successful completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment on project goals and deliver quality outcomes while adhering to timelines and budgets. You will be responsible for ensuring project performance, managing risks and maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee software development projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting as necessary.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience in software development projects.
- Understanding of software development basics including coding.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana). Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial management
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Strong team management abilities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Time Management, Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
