Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our IoT team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of IoT technologies and solutions. This role involves managing multiple IoT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Team Management:
- Lead and motivate project teams to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Track project costs and expenditures, providing regular budget reports.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. MBA or PMP certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IoT projects.
- Strong understanding of IoT technologies and applications.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
