Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Project & Scrum Master with
10+ years of experience to lead and manage cross-functional teams within our AI platform development. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of projects while driving the Agile process to optimize project performance and deliver value. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the project deliverables meet client expectations and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AI-driven technologies, an ability to lead large, complex projects, and a passion for helping teams work collaboratively and efficiently using Scrum methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple AI platform projects from inception to delivery, ensuring the successful completion of project milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and communication plans.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets and ensure that the team is adhering to financial constraints.
- Monitor progress and report status regularly to key stakeholders, identifying risks and proposing mitigation plans.
- Manage project scope and handle change requests in a controlled manner.
Agile / Scrum Leadership
- Act as the Scrum Master to lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members on Scrum best practices, helping the team embrace Agile principles and improve their processes.
- Ensure the development team is continuously improving its velocity and productivity while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Remove obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, acting as a servant leader.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and agility across the organization.
Stakeholder & Team Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical execution.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments, ensuring all teams are aligned on project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize tasks, define user stories, and establish sprint backlogs.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting project risks, successes, and blockers.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that arise during the lifecycle of the project.
- Actively monitor project timelines and resource allocations to avoid delays and ensure successful project completion.
- Handle conflict resolution between team members, stakeholders, or external partners in a constructive and professional manner.
Essential
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, including at least 5 years as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
- Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar Agile certifications. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies and experience working in AI-driven projects or technology-focused companies.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex, multi-team projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding and practical experience implementing Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address project roadblocks and find solutions that keep the project moving forward.
Desired
- Experience working in SaaS or AI/ML platforms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools used in modern software development.
- Experience in managing distributed or remote teams.
