Security And Scientific Technical Research Association (SASTRA) is a Section 8 Company under the Rashtriya Raksha University, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. SASTRA's mission is to ensure India's self-reliance in the research, development, and manufacture of security goods and services. As part of this mission, we are actively seeking innovative startups to incubate.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day project activities, including expediting, project management, inspection, and logistics management. This is an on-site role located in Dahegam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans delineating objectives, scope, and deliverables. Effectively allocate resources and manage project teams to optimize performance.
  • Timeline Management: Create and oversee project timelines, ensuring timely milestone completion.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and expenses to uphold financial goals and project viability.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery and minimise disruptions.Facilitate clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and client expectations, address and resolve issues and challenges encountered during the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation and reports to track progress and outcomes.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in engineering, science or a related field (Preferred Technical Person Specialised in IT).
  • Project Management Professional Certification is essential Experience:

Experience

  • Previously worked in the start-up ecosystem, Project management, Operations, and related fields preferred.
  • Experience in project management, expediting, and logistics management
  • Familiarity with inspection processes and quality control
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software

Type of Appointment

1 Year contract including 3 months probation period. The Contract may be further renewed based on the performance.

Remuneration: INR 8.4 lac annual CTC
