This is a remote position.
We seek a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to join our agile team. As a Scrum Master, you will oversee the scrum and development team, ensuring that our projects remain on track and align with business goals. Your role will facilitate communication, enhance team dynamics, and optimize productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, especially concerning refining and managing the product backlog.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove obstacles by fostering collaboration and improving the development team's efficiency.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and resolved.
- Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Support and coach the team in its agile adoption and help lead the organization in its scrum maturity.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master managing a large team.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Excellent skills in communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
