JOB INTRODUCTION

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic NPD Manager | Injection Moulds to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing injection moulds manufacturing projects through India and overseas tool makers vendors, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Candidate Responsibilities

1. The Candidate will be responsible for the injection moulds manufacturing projects through India and Overseas tool makers vendors and will also be responsible to monitor and expedite the development process to deliver the moulds on the target deadlines.
2. The candidate will be responsible for managing communication and coordination between the internal team, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of all projects. This includes providing progress updates and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of project developments.
3. The Candidate will be responsible for evaluating the injection moulds manufacturing costs precisely in different domains like Automotive, Home Appliances, FMCG, commodity products etc.
4. The Candidate will be responsible working with overseas tool manufacturing vendors and should be strong in relationship building with suppliers
5. The Candidate will be responsible to negotiate the Tool cost based on the targeted cost or the cost calculated and approved by the management.
6. The vendors are assets of the company so the Candidate will be responsible to resolve any dispute with the vendors and maintain a good relationship and their interest towards the company.
7. The Candidates will be responsible for project bifurcation to different tool making suppliers based on complexity of tool and inconsideration to bring benefit to the buying organisation.
8. The Candidate will be responsible to bring the total cost down regarding all other services involved in the project to create the business viability. The Candidate will be responsible for building strategic suppliers & for supplier assessment and defining the criteria to ensure promised quality.
9. The Candidate will be responsible for the entire product development cycle by engaging different suppliers like product design agencies, prototyping agencies, tool manufacturers.

Candidate Profile

1. Diploma/Degree in Plastic Moulding Technology from recognized institutions such as CIPET, TRTC, GTTC, or NTTF.
2. 8-10 years of experience in New Product Development, and Vendor management with Product Design agencies and overseas & Domestic Injection moulds manufacturers i.e. plastic injection moulds.
3. Strong understanding and experience in DFM | Moldflow | Tool design and tool manufacturing and project management.
4. Solid knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, tooling components, and associated costs.
5. Familiarity with CAD software Unigraphics | Visi CAD for basic tool design and product design review.
6. Strong analytical skills to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
7. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with tool maker suppliers and cross-functional teams.
8. Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a proactive approach to cost optimization.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
