Project Manager-IT

The Project Manager is responsible for handling significant, org-wide impact projects, focused on meeting project commitments, typically with sizable staff, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders etc. Leads the design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex projects for systems that typically affect many users. Applications may include but not limited to HR Management solutions, workflow management systems, and any custom solutions for our platform users. In depth understanding on Microsoft technology stack is required, that includes .NET Core, MVC, Micro-services architecture and SQL Server 2012/ 2019.

Essential Qualifications: Graduation in computer science / Engineering / Non engineering graduates are also considered provided they have strong technical project management experience.

Technical Qualifications: 15+ yearsexperience in software development with Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies

Experience:

Define the scope of the project, determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion

Create a detailed work plan Determine the resources (time, resources, environment, etc.) required to complete the project

Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities

Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required

Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects

Proficient in Agile Software Development that includes methods and practices where solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams.

Ensure that all project personnel receive necessary training to the organization and the project

Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project

Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Perform risk management to minimize project risks maximize the opportunities

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

Skill sets:

Proven working experience in project management in the IT Software division

Expertise on using project management, ALM tools like VSTS, MS Project, JIRA, TFS etc.

Should be well versed with Agile, SDLC process.

Should have Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies preferably on Microsoft .NET platform

Should have excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills

CSM / PSM / PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Management Reviews

Provide Technology review reports that consists of Feasibility, Impact, Integration risk aspects

Communication skills

Must be capable of providing advice, explanation, empathy, influence, and negotiation skills to navigate the solution with prowess.

Must be capable of communicating clearly the Project risks, issues, challenges, and communicating to the stakeholders

Closely interacting with development teams, related enterprise/software architects, solution consultants, solution reviewers etc.

Ability to consult management and engineering teams with technical advice

Must possess plenty of knowledge in technical aspects of the project to be able to provide guidance, identify risks, and assess the technology infrastructure of the solution

Must have the confidence, credibility, and expertise to advise and guide the solution in the right path

Expertise in IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, software architecture design, DevOps;

Deep analytical skills

Addressing the needs of the Enterprise Architecture strategy.

Understanding how different parts of the business operation are connected with each other and how business processes achieve their goal .
