The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and timely delivery of Interactive projects.
You will be reporting to the Program Manager and working closely with development teams and highly technical teams. The Project Manager will take responsibility for leading on delivery of assigned project deliverables.
They will be responsible for detailed planning of all stages of the projects from inception, gate approval, development, testing, certification and delivery. The project manager also has primary responsibility for tracking and ensuring delivery to budget.
The project manager will also support the concurrent delivery of various technical projects; project work requests including new customer data centre installations worldwide, internal infrastructure changes, customer change requests, software development updates and product releases.
The role will require close co-ordination between product management, account, service, product development and customers to achieve smooth deliveries of product release to market.
- Gather project requirements, plan, resource appropriately, track and co-ordinate the delivery of a wide range of projects as the PM responsible for the full project lifecycle.
- Liaise with Product & Project Managers and assist in delivery of technical aspects of new product rollouts.
- Understanding and ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, under the direction of product management, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Budget management by developing plans to deliver projects to fixed time, cost and quality whilst tracking actual vs. forecast costs. Share the weekly budget report with Technical Delivery Manager.
- Scheduling all the meetings and Stand-up. Sending the meeting notes with minimum review. Ensuring all actions are been tracked and closed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Maintain and track RAID log, ensure all mitigations are planned.
- Stakeholder Management Identify what information is required by each key Stakeholder and how they will be informed.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Ensure all projects have Gate3 completed.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. A Change Request to be created by PM, review by TDM.
- Report and escalate to Manager and required business group's, escalation to TDM rare occurance, takes responsibility to raise to business Managers. Ensure all regular escalations are tracked.
- Creating Weekly Project Summary Report with no review comments.
- Developing detailed project plans to guide management, stakeholders, and project teams. Revising based on changing needs and requirements. Gate1's need to be facilitated by the PM, reviewed by TDM.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Sending notification email's.
- Plan project resourcing for minimum for two weeks ahead.
- Facilitate all the retrospective meetings.
- 4+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager managing multiple work streams across multiple projects.
- Must have exposure to Agile and Prince2 project management methodologies but formal qualifications are not a prerequisite
- Ability to capture or interpret technical notes/conversations into cohesive documentation/actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt according to business requirements.
- Proactive approach to motivating and influencing people as necessary to ensure that we deliver on our commitments.
