Project Manager

Day to Day:

We are looking for a technical PM to work hybrid at our client in Gurgaon, India. You will lead and oversee acritical data lake initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects related to big data, data migration, and data warehousing. Your expertise will drive successful project execution, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

-Develop comprehensive project plans for data migration, data lake creation, and/or data warehousing initiatives.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

-Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Data Migration Management:

-Coordinate end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

-Assess technical options for addressing data migration requirements.

-Provide documented recommendations balancing time, cost, and complexity.

-Interact with vendors conducting physical migrations and application testing.

Risk Management:

-Identify potential risks related to data migration and develop mitigation strategies.

-Monitor project risks and proactively address any issues that arise.

Stakeholder Communication:

-Provide regular status reports and presentations to relevant stakeholders.

-Collaborate with impacted teams to ensure smooth transitions during data migration.

Technical Expertise:

-Hands-on experience managing large-scale data migration projects.

-Familiarity with cloud migration, data warehousing, and data strategy.

-Understanding of data security, quality, and compliance.
