Job Description

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Chennai

Reports To: Project Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator will assist in managing and coordinating project activities to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking project progress, and providing administrative support to the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Scheduling:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software.

Coordinate with team members to ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.

Update project schedules as needed to reflect changes in scope or timeline.

Tracking and Reporting:

Monitor project progress and performance against the project plan.

Prepare and distribute regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or delays.

Track and manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.

Administrative Support:

Organize and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.

Maintain project documentation and files, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.

Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports.

Communication and Coordination:

Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, team members, and external partners.

Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders.

Address and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely manner.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.

Work with the project manager to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Conduct regular reviews and audits of project activities and outputs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in project coordination

Skills:

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
