PM will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Project Planning and Coordination:- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.- Prepare and present project proposals, including timelines and budgets.
Resource Management:- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.Project Execution:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the project to ensure adherence to the plan.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.Budget and Cost Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and forecasts.
- Track project expenses and manage changes to the project scope or budget.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including progress, risks, and issues.
- Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Problem Solving:- Address and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
Implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
