Job Description
Experian are currently looking for a Project Manager to lead technology projects across EMEA and APAC regions business in multiple territories.
The role leads, develops, monitors, updates, communicates, and implements plans for EMAP Technology projects covering Infrastructure, Cloud, Service, compliance and Security from cradle to grave.
This role is responsible for the overall project delivery including project plan, execution, resource management, issue tracking, quality, governance, change management, risk management, communications and budget.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology projects to meet objectives against budget, schedule and scope to ensure achievement against Technology goals and SFAs
- Executes project management process including scope definition, scheduling, human resource and material planning and allocation, risk management planning, cost and budget management and quality assurance.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills in forming teams from local and remote sources, both within the region and in the wider global group and ensuring close communication and strong teamwork to contribute to project success
- Acts as liaison between stakeholders, sponsors and steering committee and manages these relationships.
- Identifies, defines and manages all aspects of programme level projects. Including, but not limited to, the overall programme project plan, execution, resource management, issue tracking, quality, governance, change management, risk management, communications and budget.
- Ensures that delivery and Practice project management processes and procedures are adhered to on all projects within the programme.
- Develop and maintain project risk management plans.
- Specify, obtain through resource demand management and allocate resources to meet programme requirements.
- Creates visibility across teams to mitigate coordination challenges (with Service Owners and Providers as applicable)
- Implement Agile / Scrum master tools and techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- PMI Accredited - Project Management Professional qualification
- 5-8 years functional experience.
- Experience of Mergers and Acquisition with technology integration is a plus
- Good understanding and application of Project Management competencies including at least one formal project delivery methodology, stakeholder management, contractuals, scope, schedule, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
- Financial literacy to forecast and manage programme, project and departmental budgets, costs and revenue. Good understanding of business requirements and technical limitations as determined by the client organisation's systems and processes
- Ability to influence and build productive relationships with key programme stakeholders (both internal and external) to senior manager level. Good leadership, coordination, motivation, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of key stakeholders, motivate teams and delivery tough messages with grace
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodology and tools including software
- Excellent knowledge of Agile frameworks and delivery in an Agile environment, including maturing agile performance of the programme
- Excellent knowledge of business unit products and operations.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering programmes within DevOps/DevSecOps frameworks
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Superb problem solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced negotiations and conflict management skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
