Project Manager/Engineer

Execute basic and detailed engineering work based on our standard rules (i.e. engineering handbook, investment manual and PCP).
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Close co-operation with R&D regarding formulation, manufacturing process and raw material costing.
Carrying out analysis and evaluations of project tasks and solutions with regards to the functional, technical, economic and process-specific criteria.
Making sure to apply various methodological analysis (risk analysis, HAZOP, cost-benefit analysis, FMEAs).
Coordinate for the introduction and adaptation of new processes and equipment.
Plan, manage and monitor of the projects according to the guidelines
Definition and enforcement of technology standards and specifications.
Propose, evaluation of potential solutions, new projects and technologies on processes and equipment.
Support of local project management team with FAT (factory acceptance tests), SAT.
Know how transfer to know the state of the technology through literature, patents and competition.
Working on master plan and budget planning process for CAPEX related projects.
Preparation and execution of feasibility studies for investment projects.
Support sourcing teams in qualification of existing and future potential suppliers of process equipment. Findings are reported to the Region and the Corporate Material Group Manager for indirect goods.
Implement key drives from APAC Engineering into the plant level, by coaching, following up and collaboration with local engineering team.

We Need Your Skills

10+ Proven working experience as a project manager and/or engineering
Knowledge of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project
Advanced MS Office skills
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Project management and supervision skills
Decision making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organisation skills
Experience in field management, including team management, performance management.
Proven experience with Maintenance activities, including Cost Control, Parts management, etc.
Knowhow on Control Systems and Automation essentials
Proven experience of Safety related activities and their implementation such as LOTO.
Open to travel extensively both locally and internationally
