RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager is expected to:

Oversee the total operations of On-site

Ensure statutory compliances, quality control parameters and environmental concerns for the above businesses

Bring in efficiencies and lead continuous improvement.

Develop team members and drive a healthy culture.

The Project Manager is expected to:

Prepare the project plan for the project, and undertake necessary planning and co-ordination to ensure availability of all necessary resources at the project site to ensure timely progress of the project.

Monitor daily implementation of standard operating processes (SOPs), systems, processes through use of necessary tools and systems.

Prepare the annual budgets for manpower, production consumables, fuel, capital expenditure, maintenance, spares and external infrastructure after verification of conformity with strategic plans.

Design and ensure standardization of maintenance practices for plants, machineries and tools at the workshop and project sites.

Ensure strong administration and daily monitoring of internal procedures and processes for handling the raw materials, machines and tools, Work-in-progress (WIP), completed projects, consumables, energy and contractual workforce towards optimizing utilization, stock levels, cost of operations to keep the same at minimum levels.

Create a culture of strict discipline and cleanliness, hygiene, plant and machine upkeep, safety and proper utilization of all assets at the project sites.

Liaise with architects and consultants and coordinates with commercial team to ensure all drawings are obtained, approved and available for implementation within due dates so as not to delay the progress of projects.

Ensure quality control and adherence to drawings and specifications provided by the architects and project consultants and clients. Ensures creation and implementation of SOPs and parameters to maintain quality standards and aesthetics.

Monitor implementation of necessary health, security, safety and environment conservation practices towards maintaining the workshop and project sites as zero- accident zones compliant with all statutory norms and best practices and interacts with appropriate Government agencies/statutory bodies when required.

Select and develop an energetic and high performance team for achieving the desired targets and ensures team morale and enthusiasm are maintained in spite of the pressures of the job.

Ensure regular skill development - both technical and behavioral - for different levels of manpower for better output from them on their job in coordination with HR.

Ensure implementation of all statutory norms pertaining to deployment of contractual manpower and monitors industrial relations climate towards ensuring zero disruption and optimum efficiencies in contractual labor deployment.

Ensure evaluation of vendors and contractors/ sub-contractors with respect to their efficiency, reliability, monitors adherence to their commitments on project timelines and meets them to resolve issues/ concerns, where necessary.

Interact with key clients along with the commercial team as and when required.

Liaise with architects and project consultants to understand project specifications and finalize plans as well as to monitor project completion as per required standards and timelines

Ensure timely reports to the Management with all relevant MIS reports of labor, material and project progress.
