The Project Manager at our creative agency will be responsible for managing client projects and overseeing their end-to-end delivery. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Project Manager will play a crucial role in new business development, pitch creation, team management, and ensuring successful project execution. This role may require occasional travel, and the working hours and schedule can be demanding.
Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries and sectors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies to attract new clients and projects.
- Create compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to the preferences and requirements of clients.
- Collaborate with the CEO and stakeholders to establish pricing models, negotiation strategies, and contractual agreements.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication, task delegation, and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, identify and resolve issues, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with clients, providing comprehensive updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Manage client relationships, address concerns or issues promptly, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of professionals with diverse skills and expertise.
- Assign responsibilities, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional growth and development of team members.
- Promote effective teamwork, communication, and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Identify opportunities for skills enhancement and training to ensure the teams expertise is relevant and competitive.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a creative agency or related field.
- Strong business development skills, with a track record of successfully generating new business and securing projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
