Project Manager

Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage Development Projects: Oversee the end-to-end development of the dating app, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards and is delivered on time and within budget.

Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget allocations.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate ideas into functional and engaging features.

Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication among designers, developers, and QA teams.

User-Focused Product Development: Prioritize features based on user needs, industry trends, and feedback, focusing on usability, security, and privacy.

Risk Management: Identify potential roadblocks or risks and proactively implement solutions to keep the project on track.

Performance Metrics: Define KPIs and measure the success of development milestones, ensuring user satisfaction and app retention rates.

Compliance: Ensure the app adheres to relevant regulations, including data privacy laws and security standards for dating applications.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years specifically managing dating app or social networking app development projects.

Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and agile methodologies.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of mobile app development and familiarity with frameworks, design principles, and common challenges in dating apps.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in risk management and troubleshooting.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; PMP or Agile certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record in successful dating app (ios and android) launches or experience with popular dating platforms.

Knowledge of privacy and security features, especially for user-sensitive applications.

Familiarity with user retention strategies in dating/social apps.
