Job Title: Project Manager - Solar EPC
: Sr Manager Solar EPC
Years Of Experience: 7+ Years (Solar industry)
: 2+ Years as Project Manager in Solar
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech Electrical
Location: Ahmedabad
Requirements
Should have executed a minimum of 20 C&I/ utility projects across tin/ RCC roofs as well as ground-mounted projects. (At least 1 project should be HT interconnection )
Inspecting field sites to observe, evaluate condition, the operability of facilities and structures, Collect field survey data, and measurements.
Check drawings, specifications, and BOQ for allotted work; And report any deviations.
Ability to create and implement SOP for each technical job at site
Knowledge of state-of-art technical skills in materials & methods in the construction of large projects.
Roles
Creation and Management Project Timelines from PO to Commissioning.
Creation and Presentation of Weekly Project Updates to clients, and management team
Co-ordination with Business Development Team and Engineering team for finalization of detailed engineering plans and BOQ.
Co-ordination with Technical Head, Purchase & Management for the appointment of I&C Vendors, Procurement and delivery timelines for materials.
Assist procurement team with a selection of vendors, PO, negotiation, and closure.
Co-ordination with consultant and contractors for on-time execution
Site execution as per detailed drawings and delivery of materials as per POs.
Daily Material Update, attendance at site ensuring work done
Managing Project CO ordinators for
handover file to clients.
Invoicing and payments.
Reporting and active management of variance in budget, project-timelines, materials, etc
Reporting and active management of site issues.
Responsibilities
Maximization of efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans, keeping track of goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies.
Delivery of materials as per PO and timeline.
Quality of work, and for keeping a project on time and on budget.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk
Develop systems to manage safety and quality assurance on site
Efficiency and accuracy in coordination with installers, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors; and monitoring of their work to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets.
Report on progress to owners, project developers, clients and financial partner
