Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Project Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating liaison activities with various ministries, government agencies, and other stakeholders, while also possessing expertise in machinery tendering, project proposal development, and research.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our clients and various ministries, government agencies, and other stakeholders for liaison activities.
- Facilitate liaison activities to obtain necessary approvals, licenses, permits, and clearances from relevant government bodies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies, industry associations, and other organisations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, government policies, and industry trends that may impact our clients operations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on compliance requirements, regulatory matters, and government incentives.
- Prepare and submit tender documents for machinery procurement projects, including technical specifications, pricing, and other relevant information.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for tendering processes.
- Develop project proposals and detailed project reports (DPRs) for client projects, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Conduct research and analysis on specific topics related to government policies, regulations, industry developments, and market trends.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate updates, progress, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in government liaisoning, machinery tendering process, project proposal development, and research roles, preferably in a consulting firm or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of government structures, regulatory processes, and tendering procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and government engagements.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and confidentiality.
