Job Description

In this role, one would lead the project(s) by establishing guidelines, implementing good practices, designing scalable solutions, and taking it to delivery.

Primary Skills needed:- Minimum six years of overall experience in analyzing, designing, developing, troubleshooting Software Applications- Working experience on Java microservices and deploying applications on the cloud (any cloud provider) using docker, Kubernetes- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience building REST API using Java tech-stack- Strong hands-on Java programming skills, understanding and implementation of best practices and design patterns- Good understanding and working experience in security, performance optimization, and monitoring aspects - Experience in handling customers issues, exposure to customer usage patterns etc. - Exposure to various operational considerations like scaling considerations, throughout considerations, caching, and data modeling- Good understanding of messaging systems like Kafka - Consistently write valuable tests for all code developed and ensure quality is maintained as development moves forward- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Having the below skills would be an added advantage:- Exposure or working experience on Helidon microservices framework, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Functional knowledge of financial ERP products such as accounts receivables, account payables, accounting etc.

Other supporting skills:- Infrastructure as code such as Terraform, Helm, etc.- Linux, Build tools (maven, grunt, gulp, npm, etc.), Git, etc.- Well-versed with application life-cycle management for cloud-based applications- Good exposure to the DevOps/CICD model- Experience in Agile methodologies and Release management techniques- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work with cross-functional teams across geographies, I.e., Product Management, QA, and Strategy teams based out of various locations- Exposure to various database models like relational (SQL based), document-oriented (mongo. elastic search), etc

Career Level - IC3

In this role, one would lead the project(s) by establishing guidelines, implementing good practices, designing scalable solutions, and taking it to delivery.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design, and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss product functionality changes and ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Should be fully competent in own area of expertise.
