- Responsible for coordinating with customer for project assignments related powertrain competence on underground Products
- Review design concepts, layouts, models and detailed drawings using tools such as Creo, ACAD etc. Provide guidance on critical design manufacturing process to the team
- Sizing and selection of Powertrain system components
- Continuous evaluation of system for efficiency
- Participate in Proto support, Testing and Validation.
- Analyse the field issues and offer suitable solutions to fix the issue.
- Interact with marketing and sales team to understand customer requirement.
- Performingchecking and approving design calculations as required
- Self-checking and presenting the work for internal and external reviews
- Value addition and suggestions for improvements as applicable
- Interaction with customers and colleagues
- Ensure timely completion of projects meeting customer expectations on Cost, Quality Features
- Maintain Project documents as per ISO procedures
- Support team in upgrading all the internal processes on continuous basis
- Project Management (10-15 Tasks):
- Receiving and studying the job
- Closing the job after completion
- Analyzing the customer feedback
- Reporting to the Manager in a timely and efficient manner
- Complying to company policies and follow company values and business code of practice
Educational and Work Experience:
- 7-11yrs. of experience - Mining / Earth moving equipment /off road vehicles
- BE / BTech - Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
- Hands on Experience in Creo, Acad.
- Experience working on PLM system
- Good knowledge of system Engineering and integration
- Good knowledge on drilling application and attachment part.
- Awareness on Hydraulic basic system and application
- Good knowledge on structures design and Engineering materials.
- Knowledge of design standards
- Preparation release of BOM and Engineering change management.
- Basic project management knowledge.
