Job Title: Project Head - STP/ETP/WTP

The Project Head - STP/ETP/WTP is responsible for leading and managing the design, planning, execution, and commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plants, Effluent Treatment Plants, and Water Treatment Plants. This role demands a strong understanding of environmental engineering principles, project management, and regulatory compliance. The Project Head will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end management of STP/ETP/WTP projects from initiation to commissioning.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure the use of best practices in project management and construction.
Technical Oversight
:- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for STP/ETP/WTP projects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Oversee the selection of technologies and equipment for optimal performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during project execution.Stakeholder Management
: Collaborate with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.
Resource Management
:- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and site staff.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including negotiation and contract management.
Financial Management
:- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
Identify and manage risks related to project costs, timelines, and quality.
- Report financial performance to senior management and recommend cost-saving measures.
Quality & Safety Compliance
:- Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards and safety regulations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in project management, specifically in STP/ETP/WTP projects.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, wastewater treatment processes, and relevant technologies.- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.
