Project: This will be a unique and possibly India's largest hotel development. It will include two hotels - one a luxury hotel and the second a business hotel. In addition to conference facilities in both the hotels, the development will also have commercial/office space.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Reviewing overall project quality status with the project management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
- Ensuring all company policies surrounding material handling, health and safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met.
- Interpreting or evaluating inspection measurements in accordance with applicable specifications, or procedures.
- Receiving of parts from subcontract and internal processes into the inspection function.
- Carrying out inspection of finishes and interpreting the results to make recommendations for acceptance or otherwise of parts based on inspection results.
- Reviewing nonconforming products and determining and taking the most appropriate action utilising all available data sources, experience and knowledge.
- Selecting, calibrating or operating equipment used in the QC inspection of coated products or materials.
- Conducting pre-operation daily and other checks on equipment where required.
- Monitoring all civil and safety aspects.
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site activities.
- Liaising with clients and coordinating with architecture, structural engineers and subcontractors.
- Making sure that the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Reviewing codes and general details for construction projects.
- Carrying out daily inspection of finished work.
About You
You will have a degree qualification in civil engineering and be a member of a professional body. You have experience as a civil engineer including hotel/high-rise hospitality projects.
You are digitally savvy can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike.
