Overview

The Project Coordinator for Interior Projects in Nungambakkam plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of various interior projects. This role is essential for coordinating with various stakeholders and teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while upholding quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule interior projects, considering various factors such as timelines, resources, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee the procurement of necessary resources and materials for interior projects.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Collaborate with interior designers and architects to ensure that project requirements and design concepts are accurately implemented.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates and address concerns.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and drawings.
  • Conduct on-site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Support the project manager in coordinating project schedules and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and construction processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse stakeholders and project teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze project requirements, identify potential risks, and propose effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
  • Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permit processes.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic project environment.
