Job Description: Project Coordinator Construction Company

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, coordinating, and managing multiple construction projects simultaneously. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling:

o Assist in creating comprehensive project schedules and plans.

o Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment of project timelines and milestones.

2. Coordination & Communication:

o Serve as a central point of contact for project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

o Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.

o Ensure seamless communication between all project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

o Maintain and update project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance records.

o Prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.

o Track and monitor project metrics, budgets, and schedules.

4. Risk & Issue Management:

o Identify potential project risks and work with teams to implement mitigation strategies.

o Address and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.

5. Resource Coordination:

o Collaborate with teams to allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.

o Track resource availability and manage conflicts effectively.

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance:

o Ensure that all projects adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

o Perform periodic site visits to assess project progress and compliance.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

o Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.

o Proven experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills:

o Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).

o Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and safety standards.

o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

o Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Salary 1500 to 3000 USD
