The Opportunity

The IES Global Modelling Team is currently looking for an experience Project Consultantto join our Consultancy team based in our Pune office. You will be working as a member of our expanding international consulting team, with the main responsibility of modelling to allow the analysis of complex large-scale projects. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging, international projects and will be given the encouragement and support to develop your career. You will operate CAD/3D software and our own VE (Virtual Environment) software on behalf of our clients. You would be involved in multiple tasks depending on projects.

Duties will include:

• Operate CAD software and VE software on behalf of our clients.
• Receiving/reviewing 2D/3D CAD drawings, Revit, Rhino or Sketchup models and preparing drawings for modelling buildings within IES software.
• Building 3D model geometry out of said 2D drawings/3D models for micro climate, daylighting and energy simulation and analysis for consultancy.
• Preparing Models and graphics for marketing and software sale as and when the business requires.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced (minimum two-three years) modeller, with appropriate and relevant engineering or architectural background, with the following skills and experience:

Essential skills:

• Two-three years working experience in design using 3D/Energy modelling software.
• B.Arch or architectural technology.
• Experience in drafting using CAD tools such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino etc.
• Strong communication skills including speaking English.

Desirable skills:

• Experience in simulation using tools such as IESVE (preferred)
• Experience in Architectural/Sustainability industry/Environmental Studies
