About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Analyst to join our team, focusing on billing and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing billing processes and financial reporting. Expertise in software licensing procurement is essential for this role.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision-making.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and financial issues.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Provide support for audits and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an MBA in Finance.
- At least 4 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Certification in accounting or finance (e.g., CPA, CMA).
- Experience in project management or a related field.
- Familiarity with industry-specific billing processes and financial regulations.
