Dvara E-Registry (DER) is an AgriFinTech from Hyderabad working towards building a digital platform that would enable all stakeholders in the Agri-value chain, especially smallholder farmers, access to structured financial products and agricultural markets to enhance their financial wellbeing and climate resilience.
Our digital solutions are for helping the FPOs to connect the farmers and digitally provide its services. The technology and analytics will give precise data points to FPO on its farmers to take actions. These actions include linking input and our markets, providing advisory services and Lending Services.
Dvara E-Registry is working with 250+ FPOs to support them with digital platform for market and financial linkages.
Integrated Agri Ventures (IAVs) are modern near farmgate large scale Agri businesses formed as Joint Ventures between DER and FPOs. IAVs aim at helping farmers enhance their financial well being through increased participation and ownership in farmgate Agri businesses such as processing, dairy, poultry, fisheries, agroforestry etc., in order to create a win-win for consumers, farmers and DER.
Key Accountabilities And Deliverables
- To lead from front and be the face of the company for building the IAV model working with all the relevant Partners.
- Formation and incubation of IAV with the FPOs. Identify the potential agri-businesses opportunities near to farmgate that are scalable and viable for the JV.
- Responsible for managing business and operations of IAV.
- Set up value chains, processing units and other operations in the FPOs depending upon the activities undertaken in IAV.
- Take complete ownership of the business process, related activities, and their compliances, documentation, and necessary MIS.
- Understanding Agri and Allied value chain from end to end and look for opportunities in backward and forward market linkages.
- Prepare business plan and execution.
- To achieve monthly, quarterly & yearly business targets as per plan and bringing in profitability.
- Explore new interventions in the agriculture sector and promote sustainable practices.
- Handle team for different value chains and overlook execution.
- Liaison with board of FPOs, companies involved in agri value chain and government officials.
- Should have good knowledge of agriculture sector, practices, and new interventions, able to build relationships.
- Take up new assignments as and when offered by the company.
- Adherence to company Standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Educational Qualifications
- Graduation in Agriculture or allied/Botany
- Post Grad/Management degree
Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience. (lesser experience can be considered for exceptional talent)
Competencies/Skills Required:
- Willingness to work in a start-up environment.
- Candidate with Agriculture or Agri-allied background and domain knowledge will be given preference.
- Must be competent to learn and adapt to changing technical environment.
- Ability to meet targets.
- Detail and process oriented.
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and relationship development skills.
- Should open to travel.
- Excellent in MS Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
