About the Program:

American India Foundation (AIF) has been implementing Learning and Migration Program (LAMP) program across 2500 schools and Anganwadis annually in 12 states. LAMP aims to make the migration affected villages free of child migration by improving access to quality education through training teachers and stakeholders engagement to invest in children's future aligned with the New Education Policy, 2020.

About the job:

  • Facilitate and monitor the implementation of planned quality Early Child Education (ECE) activities and community level engagements in the allotted block
  • Responsible to develop ECE implementation activities plan (weekly and monthly) and implement as per timeline of the project
  • Responsible for Anganwadi and school mapping and microplanning
  • Facilitate and coordinate quality and timely trainings of Anganwadi Workers, Helpers, caregivers and other project stakeholders on ECE
  • Mobilize and facilitate the engagements of stakeholders during planning and development meetings, workshops and seminars
  • Facilitate stakeholders and partners in supervision and monitoring of programmatic activities.
  • Responsible to support the field team in coordinating the Mothers Groups, PTM and SMC
  • Responsible to ensure the implementation of Child Safeguarding Policy, RTE and NEP
  • Ensure the enrollment of the Anganwadi children in school
  • Responsible to collect, collate and analysis project data

Expected Competencies and Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate/ MSW/MA Sociology/B.Ed./M.Ed
  • Good knowledge of Hindi and working knowledge of English language
  • 2-5 years of experience in working with community (SMC, SHG, PRI members, Volunteers)
  • Experiences and Knowledge of working on ECE and ICDS system would be an added advantage
  • Prior experience of working with children
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Familiar with technology
  • Proficiency in written & verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks on time to meet goals
