Summary:
Goldbelt, Inc. is in search of a Program Analyst I to support the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Atlanta, GA.
This is a hybrid position. Employee will be required to work in the office 2 days a week.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as an analyst and, as part of a team, assists with planning, managing, and/or evaluating programs, projects or activities within the team
- Monitor functional mailboxes for inquiries to provide appropriate and accurate responses or assistance, summarize requests/responses for SMEs, and if appropriate, triage inquiry to appropriate SMEs to be assigned the task
- Support the establishment of program standards, policies, strategies, goals and evaluation plans in conjunction with senior staff by reviewing literature, advising on procedures and/or strategies, presenting information at meetings/work groups, creating materials to provide information to various audiences
- Maintain current and up-to-date information on team activities and emerging initiatives
- Provide logistical support to project PIs for project meetings by scheduling and booking meeting rooms/skype/zoom, preparing presentation materials, preparing documents, providing supplies from branch inventory or request new items, requesting visitor access, and assisting with other duties as needed
- Support short- or long-term planning, program development, policy and program analysis, and program evaluations
- Prepare and submit travel vouchers and assure they're processed in a not later than one week after submission
- Assist staff with other travel documents required such as Actual Expense Memos, Hardship Pay requests, Letters of Invitation for both invitational and sponsored travel, and submit approval
- Support Branch time and attendance needs in the TASNet System including organizing and storing leave forms, sending reminders to staff, monitoring amendments, and serving as a quality control check between time requested and time entered in the system
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences
- Ability to independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple, complex, and cross-functional actions
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of MS Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent project management experience required
- Must be tech savvy, strong computer skills
- Creative, innovative, and strategic thinking skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in program evaluation/analysis
- Ability to work onsite at least once a week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree with one to six years of related experience in program evaluation/analysis
- Previous CDC experience
- Experience using CONCUR and TASNet
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $86,000 annually.
