Job Description :

Job Title: Production Support Engineer - Data & Cloud
Experience:5 -9 Years
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech/ MBA

Role & Responsibilities:

Application and System Monitoring: Investigate job failures, monitor alerts, and handle general queries.
Proactive Monitoring: Oversee critical workflows during key events.
Incident Management: Communicate with stakeholders, perform root cause analysis, and document issues and resolutions.
Disaster Recovery (DR): Develop, execute, and maintain DR plans.
Release and Change Management: Review changes and ensure adherence to Nomura's processes.
Automation: Identify and implement automation opportunities in production processes.
System Maintenance: Ensure production system availability after maintenance or releases.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to maintain high-performance and scalable applications.

Skills:
Strong SQL expertise.
Knowledge of data platforms like AWS EMR, Hadoop, Spark, and Java.
Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Solace, Pulsar).
Proficiency in AWS Cloud Data solutions, including Data Lakes and Warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift/Spectrum).
Hands-on experience in deploying/debugging cloud-based applications (AWS, Python, Java).
Understanding CI/CD pipelines for both on-premise and cloud applications.
Communication: Strong ability to work with business and technical stakeholders..
