Production Testing Automation Lead

Responsibilities

.Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, Python, and SQL for functional, integration, and performance testing.
.Lead API testing efforts using Postman, including creating, executing, and automating REST API test cases.
.Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans to cover functionality, scalability, and performance requirements.
.Manage and optimize test pipelines for CI/CD workflows, integrating testing into Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or other DevOps pipelines.
.Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
.Build and mentor a team of QA engineers, driving best practices in automation and quality assurance processes.
.Track and analyze testing metrics, including defect density and test coverage, to identify improvement areas.
.Investigate and resolve escalated testing issues, including performance bottlenecks and system failures.
.Enhance testing observability using monitoring tools and integrate feedback loops into testing frameworks.
.Maintain test environments and ensure they are aligned with production configurations.
.Create and maintain documentation, including test case repositories, runbooks, and test reports.
