- The Production Support Analyst executes and monitors business data processing jobs including data warehouse, customer file transmissions, shift-to-shift turnover communications
- They are trusted and depended on to handle remediation procedures for failures, delays, and other interruptions to service and to escalate as needed
- The Production Support Analyst works on different projects of data engineering to support the use cases, data ingestion pipeline and identify potential process or data quality issues
- The team brings together data from different internal external partners, making it available to the operations area
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides setup and testing of production job execution, automation and scheduling for business critical areas including daily client file transfers and EDW production batch.
- Monitors completion and distribution of enterprise-wide reporting and analytics in a 24/7/365 environment. Manages and monitors assigned Change Control tickets and trouble tickets.
- Monitors and reacts to alerts for hundreds of data ingestions across 58 business areas.
- Coordinates with Windows and Unix teams preparing for patching across multiple servers.
- Recommends and/or implements process Improvement - regarding the access, extract, and transform of data from a variety of sources of all sizes and provides automation around data centric needs using for efficiency improvement.
- Supports the project teams in new analytical proof of concepts and tool exploration projects; to deliver on time/correctly on concurrent projects; may be POCs to ingest and process data.
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to manage data logistics - including data specifications, transfers, structures, and rules; and collaborates with business users, business analysts and technical teams.
- Demonstrates analytical, interpersonal and professional communication skills. Learns quickly and works effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Data - Answer and trouble shoot questions about data sets and tools; ingest data from files, streams and databases then process the data with in order to store data to yellowbrick database. Manage data coming from different sources and involved in maintenance and loading of structured and unstructured data.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering,
2- to 3 years in technology
Working knowledge of IBMs Tivoli Workload Scheduler, or similar job scheduling tool (e.g. Control-M) - TWS strongly preferred Experience with most basic Linux commands/Unix experience as well, as the will be working closely with development team
Cloud Environment, preferred but not essential
Technical Skills - Expert in writing complicated SQL Queries and database analysis for good performance. Experience in AIX, YB, Informatica.
