1. Supervise and provide technical guidance to the production team. 2. Oversee the plastics production process; Develop and document effective processes to manufacture plastic parts that meet design and quality requirements. 3. Schedule and release work orders. 4. Work with the Assembly department to ensure on time delivery. 5. Troubleshoot non-conforming parts, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action as needed. 6. Develop and implement processes for prototype parts and tool try outs. 7. Responsible for the life cycle of plastics equipment and ensure all preventative maintenance and calibration is completed as needed. 8. Recommend new equipment to meet the company needs and equipment obsolescence. 9. Assist in programming of injection molding robots for part removal, overmold and in-mold label installation as well as interaction with advanced automation systems. 10. Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Mold Design, Software and Quality Control teams.
