About The Role
Reporting to Senior Manager Operations, you will carry the objective of making the plant operations as best in class and the role to grow as Operations Manager in Tuas and beyond within Reckitt. With this, you will be involved from Project stage ensuring vertical start-up of the new lines of operations of infant nutrition products. You'll have close interaction with the Project team, Technical Services, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Finance functions.
Your responsibilities
- Involve with Project team, lead the Project Operations Workstream ensuring proper equipment commissioning, GMP readiness.
- Support the project team to achieve the vertical start-up of the plant operations.
- Provide leadership to achieve expected product quality through use and improvement of the plant's quality system.
- Lead and provide input in the technical investigation for product non-conformance or process abnormalities.
- Achieve quality objectives by ensuring compliance with factory quality system.
- Achievement of production volume targets of all products as per the Master Production Schedule.
- Lead the achievement of excellent customer service through the timely production of products of expected quality.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Technical Service and Quality when necessary to propose a pragmatic production decision to move forward.
- Develop and implements actions to efficiently achieve business objectives within the framework of the factory's total manufacturing objectives.
- Drive the improvement of plant efficiencies and achievement of OEE targets.
- Responsible for product yield and process optimization.
- Support implementation of project, from production trial until commercial run stage.
- Initiate/Implement waste reduction programs/continuous improvement/cost saving/X-trim & Squeeze projects.
- Ensure operations abide by Reckitt's Safety goals and comply with Company Health & Safety requirements.
- Provide leadership in developing/implementing plant safety & housekeeping programs.
- Lead and provide technical advice to Production Supervisors and Technicians on day-to-day production challenges which are process, engineering or equipment related.
The experience we're looking for
- Engineering qualification, with 5 to 7 years of experiences in plant's operations either in Production, Maintenance or Engineering.
- Commercial awareness: Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability.
- In depth knowledge of Engineering responsibilities, systems and standards and GMPs.
- Achievement focused and able to work in a direct and often pressurized environment.
