Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and delivery schedules - Capable of the planning from Printing to Packing.
Coordinate with the team to schedule production activities, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to timelines.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address any bottlenecks or delays.
Organizes pre-production meetings or pre-production activities to discuss related issues
Resource Management:
Manage the allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize efficiency and productivity and ensures that apparel production lines are properly balanced for target output
Conduct regular assessments of resource requirements and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
Implement measures to minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization.
Ensures that materials are organized at each stage of processing
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures throughout the production process.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and enforce quality standards and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Utilize ERP systems and other relevant tools to track production metrics and performance indicators.
Maintaining DPRs and ensuring each team member achieves daily production targets
Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:
Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the merchandising, product development and technical teams
Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to develop the skills and capabilities of production staff.
Address any issues or concerns raised by team members and implement strategies to enhance morale and motivation.
Responsible for ensuring discipline on the floor
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
Conduct regular safety audits and investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the apparel industry.
Proven track record of successfully achieving production targets and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across diverse teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
