Production Supervisor

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a team of production staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance and providing feedback, andcoachingas needed
• Plan and schedule production runs to meet customer demand, ensuring the attainment of production goals on time, and within budget
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure that they are operating smoothly, and efficiently, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
• Develop and implement process improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure the adequate allocation of all resources, including materials, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a healthy work environment for all staff
• Monitor production metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement and report regularly to senior management on production performance
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve production processes, and operations

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field
• Min. 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least two years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong technical abilities and knowledge of production processes, and equipment
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, and inspire teams
• Superb problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with an adeptness at identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively
• Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with associates, senior management and other stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities, with a proficiency in balancing multiple priorities, and deadlines
• A commitment to continuous improvement and a strong focus on optimising production processes, and operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 18,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month
