Production Supervisor HPDC

The job description for a High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) Production Supervisor requires the following skills and qualifications:

• Skills Required:

Pressure Die Casting Process:

• Strong understanding and expertise in the Pressure Die Casting process.

Aluminium Melting Process & Furnace:

• Deep knowledge of the aluminum melting process, including furnace operations.

PDC Machines & Dies:

• Basic knowledge of Pressure Die Casting (PDC) machines and PDC dies.

Operational Excellence & Systems Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Familiarity with system audits, 5S methodology, and Kaizen (continuous improvement) practices.

• Manpower Management:

Experience in managing a minimum of 40 personnel.

Quality & Rejection Analysis: Understanding of part quality control, rejection analysis, and corrective actions.

• Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (BE).

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Pressure Die Casting company.

• Responsibilities:

Die Casting Production:

• Oversee shift-wise production.

Monitor and manage rejection rates.

• Implement cost-saving measures.

This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and quality of the die casting process, managing teams, and driving continuous improvement in production operations.
