Job description:It is a full-time on-site role for a Production Planning Engineer based in Coimbatore. One will be responsible for Planning, Product time study, Tuning Manufacturing Process, Tooling, Inventory management, Product Costing, Decision Making.
Education: B.Tech / B.E. - Mechanical, Automobile, and Production Engineering.
Relevant Experience Required :*3-5 years in Gearbox Manufacturing OEM*Experience in Assembly Shop Production PlanningERP Knowledge
Roles and Responsibilities:
Inventory analysis and planning based on sales forecast.Knowledge in Drawings, Geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing, Manufacturing processes, MS Excel, CNC, Conventional Machines.Good Knowledge o Fixtures.Raising of purchase requisition.Coordinating and managing departments from vendor, Quality Control, Supervisors.Prepare and document time study and planning.Prepare Manufacturing and production cost for FG.Prepare/release weekly production plans and ensure for on time completion.Prepare report on daily, weekly and monthly production MIS reports.Ensure Plan vs actual completion as per production plan.Good communication and Interpersonal Skills.
NOTE: You will be the Head of the department, have to manage your teams efficiently. You have to work on your own, without any support and handle everything. Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards your goals. Regularly assess the effectiveness of the implemented improvements and make adjustments as necessary.
You have to prepare all the documents, Conduct meetings and trainings, and have to be a field worker who likes to gets his hand dirt when needed.
Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: 40,000 - 60,000 per month
