Job Summary:
The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety and efficiency standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing, process optimization, and team management to drive productivity and maintain quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify and execute improvements in production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality specifications and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Resource Management: Manage materials, equipment, and labor to maximize productivity and maintain operational efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate the production team to meet performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years in a production or manufacturing role, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong production planning, quality management, process improvement, and team leadership skills.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
