Job Title: Production Engineer - Fabrication Unit
Job Summary:The Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing processes for the production of heat exchangers. This role involves optimizing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Planning and Optimization:Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for heat exchangers, Pressure Vessels , Columns , Etc and ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate design specifications into production processes.Must preform complete control and management of the planning and production output of Heat Exchangers , Pressure Vessels and other equipments.
Project Specification: Review the Tender/RFQ/PO/WO specification.Ensure adherence to codes ,standards, technical specifications and material requirements.
Production Scheduling: Develop production schedules and coordinate workflow to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.Conduct Kickoff meeting and derive the target delivery date.Monitor production progress and implement adjustments as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality heat exchangers.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.Establish Job Fabrication Schedules.
Materials Management:Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize waste and production delays.Must prepare Bill of Quantities and material procurement timeline for procurement and production.
Cost Control:Work to optimize production costs without compromising product quality.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve overall operational efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration:Work closely with production teams, technicians, and contractors to facilitate smooth operations.
Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
