• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/ diploma in Polymer Engineering, plastic engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the plastics injection molding industry.

Proven expertise in polymer science and technology, with a deep understanding of injection molding processes.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across departments.

• Data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards.

• Experience in building and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives is a plus.

• Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 25 production personnel, fostering a safe, collaborative, and high-performing environment.

• Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management.

• Operational Support:

Assist in managing daily production schedules, oversee machine operations, and ensure production targets are met.

• Help identify opportunities for process optimization to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

• Quality Control & Assurance:

Monitor quality standards and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring molded parts meet specifications.

• Diagnose and resolve defects or inconsistencies in the molding process.

• Equipment & Maintenance:

Manage injection molding equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for routine servicing and repairs.

• Safety & Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Foster a safety-first culture to maintain a secure work environment.

• Production Planning & Control:

Assist in production planning, monitor KPIs like efficiency and defect rates, and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.

• Track performance and report to senior management.

• Project Management:

Support the introduction of new molds, processes, or technologies and work with R&D to integrate them into production.

• Communication & Liaison:

Facilitate communication between departments, ensuring coordination with design, quality assurance, and logistics teams.

• Occasionally interact with customers to resolve product quality or specification concerns.

• Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate production records, including quality control data and maintenance schedules.

• Prepare reports on departmental performance and metrics for management review.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on industry advancements to maintain competitiveness.
