Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely project completion.- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to define project requirements and timelines.
Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to address changes in project scope or unforeseen delays.
Allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure optimal productivity.- Track and manage inventory levels of materials and supplies.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure cost-effective procurement of materials.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure projects meet company and industry standards.- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance, training, and support.- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development.
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Communication and Reporting:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding project status and updates.- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the production process.
Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of production management, construction processes, and project management principles.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
