Job Role: Production- Line handling in Engine & Transmission Assembly
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical
Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile engineering
Job Responsibilities
- Managing team of minimum 15 person on shop floor and resolving their genuine concerns within short span of time.
- Manpower Training and deployment according to their skill set
- Training people for use of Machines, equipment and process knowledge.
- Identifying areas of quality improvement and taking steps to correct & prevent the occurrence through FMEA.
- Effective utilization of lean manufacturing process through 5S, 7 waste, kaizen, PDCA, 7QC, TAKT.
- Maintaining safe and clean working environment through education to all cell members and motivating effective uses of all PPEs.
- Develop and manage the plan to ensure no scrap and repair.
- Solving the machine and equipment related issues by calling the maintaining persons.
- Immediate communication to seniors for any issues regarding safety, quality and production.
- Good Understanding of different engine testing process (leak Test, Cold Test, Hot Test) and testing facility.
- Creating performance centric participation of all cell members and monitoring individual's performance to achieve departments goals.
- Ability to manage multiple activity at a time on shop floor.
Functional/Technical
Competencies / Skills:
- Man power handling skill.
- Domain knowledge of Engine & Transmission assembly & respective testing processes
- Knowledge of process quality control parameters, techniques and troubleshooting.
- Hands on production experience
- Knowledge of 5S, Line balancing.
- Analytical ability towards problem solving and fast execution.
- Experienced at streamlining systems and operations to enhance productivity.
- Awareness about ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001.
