We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Production Engineer to join our team. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and optimization of production processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize production line performance.
- Assist in the design and implementation of equipment modifications or upgrades to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize disruptions and maintain continuous operation.
- Support production personnel in resolving technical issues and providing training on new processes or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production environment.
- Generate and maintain production documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, providing input on manufacturability and process optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in production engineering techniques.
Requirements
Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English. Multilingual is preferable.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Good presentation skills.
- Should be able to travel for business purposes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, and fabrication.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Experience with CAD software is a plus.
- Should have knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Excel, Statistical Analysis Software, and Supply Chain Management Software
Expected Qualification
- Completed Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA in one of the below disciplines:
- Production Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Freshers are eligible to apply
- Maximum total experience should not exceed 1 year.
